Cross and tabernacle:

At the beginning of the so-called “Capuchin Hill” there is the Convent of the Friars and the Church of Saint Maria of Grace  and which can be accessed by two roads: Saint Maria of Grace  ramp and via Tuoro which is now totally urbanized. Going up the steep slope of the ramp, we see that it is crossed on both sides by centuries- old trees  planted along the avenue precisely to outline the path that, in ancient times, led to the Convent. We find, among other things, a 25-meter poplar planted in 1770. At a certain point the climb stops, forming another square and we discover another century-old tree : the lime tree that gives the place an accentuated sign of religiosity and meditation. A wooden cross once stood in the middle of this road, while another still present , dominates the road that connects to Picarelli, where a tabernacle can be seen with an image of the Virgin depicted in polychrome majolica erected in 1830 by guardian father illuminated by Mercogliano and restored in 1927 by the superior of the time Father Feliciano of San Giovanni.
